The show was called Born Into This — the name lifted from the 2003 Bukowski documentary, and the host said the quiet part out loud on the old site: "for me it means being born into music. From my Dad's…" — the sentence the archive cuts off mid-thought, which is somehow perfect.
Both surviving episodes are full-length broadcast masters — fifty and sixty megabytes of 2010s-era signal, music and talk stitched together the way only a DIY station at midnight does it. They sat unplayed for over a decade until the recovery operation pulled them off a 16-terabyte drive this week.
Episode 1 and Episode 2 are both streaming now in Indo Radio Classic — members only, exactly as they aired.
If you came up through the South Bay scene, there's a decent chance you're in these tapes — the shows fed off the same crowd that packed Wake Up Wednesdays. Recognize a voice? Tell the culture desk.
